Return Policy for Computer Connection, University of Maine, 2/8/2008

Thank you for your order with Computer Connection! Please be sure that the product meets your requirements at the time you place your order. For computer memory and battery orders, please bring your computer in to validate the model number (or supply a serial # if purchased from us). In the unlikely event that you do get defective product, or if you have questions regarding returns, the following information will be helpful

General guidelines that must be met for all returns
|
- All returns are subject to the return conditions of our suppliers.
- Unopened products with our original sales receipt may be returned to our retail store within 15 calendar days of purchase.
- Opened products must be returned to our warehouse at Building 6 in York Village and must include the original packing materials (in re-useable condition) along with the original, Computer Connection Sales Receipt.
- Any exceptions to this return policy must be approved by the Sales Manager or Manager of Computer Connection, and if approved will be subject to a restocking fee.
- Different types of products have varying return guidelines, as explained below.

Return of Custom Configured Apple or Lenovo Computers
|
- Not allowed by suppliers/manufacturers unless defective (then replaced with like product).
- For individual purchases of custom configurations, a 20% deposit will be required. This is non-refundable in event of order cancellation.
- For departmental purchases, a service fee of up to 20% may be charged in event of order cancellation.

Return of Software
|
- Unopened, current version software may be returned.
- Software license/media returns will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Products Not Returnable include: |
|
Computer batteries and outdated, opened, demo, as-is, or fire sale items.
